Ventana Television has the same street address as HSN, and is the holding company for its broadcast licenses. The idea for HSN had its roots in a radio station managed by Paxson. Ferraro concluded her 17-year run at The Walt Disney Company where she most recently served as co-chair of Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media and president of Disney Consumer Products and reported to work at Qurate on September 16. On February 6, 2019, QVC again rebranded itself, the new logo with a square shape intended to resemble a computer or a phone screen emphasizing its digital and mobile platforms. The reimagined 'Q' in a sleek, mobile-friendly format, has a lever that is supposed to symbolize an open door, said Susan Ripke, QVC's vice president of brand strategy.

This corresponded to the front row of order takers in the HSN Studio at the Levitz Center in Clearwater, Florida. Comcast and TCI spin-off company Liberty Media completed their acquisition of the company on February 2, 1995, and Diller resigned. CEO on March 6, 1995, after overseeing the daily business of the company as president of QVC electronic retailing and executive vice president of QVC Inc. since February 1994. Briggs was tasked with boosting Diller's many start-up ventures, including QVC UK and Q2. HSN2, launched on August 1, 2010, acts as a timeshift channel carrying tape-delayed presentations of products and programming. In an attempt to engage with younger consumers in 2009, HSN produced a 14-episode online video series, Faces of Beautiful You, which follows three young women who find solutions to many of life's problems through HSN's beauty products. The campaign included a Facebook widget, character blogs, and profiles for the three main characters on Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook.
As of today, HSN and QVC is carried over the digital public airwaves and can be viewed without a cable subscription or a streaming device. Additionally a new Streaming service was introduced to cable providers which provides a different shopping experience compared to if a viewer went online and ordered merchandise. In 1986, HSN began a second network that broadcast free-to-air on a number of television stations it had acquired under the name Silver King Broadcasting. In 1992, HSN spun off from Silver King Broadcasting, and afterwards saw Liberty Media acquire stock in the network.

In a counter-libel suit, GTE claimed that HSN had slandered the company; GTE won a $100 million judgment. In September 2018, HSN had partnered with Pickler & Ben talk show for a "shop the show" feature that allows viewers to buy featured items from HSN via the show's website and HSN.com. While most are wishing the hosts well, some viewers are also expressing their displeasure at QVC. However, there’s no information on whether QVC chose to lay off the presenters. On October 1, 2021, HSN rescheduled its live programming again, from 8am to 2am ET daily; its live broadcasting schedule was reduced by one hour. On September 12, 2022, the live 7am to 8am ET hour was restored, albeit on weekdays only.
Both QVC and HSN sell jewelry on their online platforms, mostly lower-ticket fashion jewelry, but both offer some fine jewelry as well. Jewelry sales have steadily declined at both networks but still remain an important part of their offerings. Liberty Interactive, parent company of TV shopping giant QVC, has purchased the Home Shopping Network for $2.1 billion in stock. After integrating their shopping experience with Facebook in 2008 and with Instagram in 2012, QVC launched toGather, a social shopping platform resembling Pinterest in July 2013.
On Monday, October 7, 2019, QVC ceased its 24/7 live broadcasting model in favor of airing nineteen hours of live and five hours of repeated programming daily. On November 22, 2019, QVC reinstated a twentieth hour of live programming daily. QVC's U.S. operations are based in the Studio Park complex, which houses its corporate headquarters, studio and broadcasting facilities.
In 1996, the station group was sold back to Silver King Broadcasting, which was now owned by Barry Diller, and changed its name to "HSN Inc." after its merger with Silver King was completed. Under Diller's leadership, the HSN also acquired the USA Network October 1997. QVC Italy broadcasts live 17 hours a day , 364 days a year to 25 million households. The primary distribution platforms for QVC Italy are digital terrestrial television and satellite.
